This is just a blog about my thoughts, my family, my everyday life. Because I am a Christian and have ups and downs like everyone else, I hope it will encourage others to either turn to Christ for the first time, or lean on Him when times are rough. Often life is just random and funny. I started this blog after many years of writing to my church about our vacations. They began to encourage me to blog and finally I am. Thanks for reading.

Jesus Came....

Jesus came.  It was in the plan all along.  It was not a surprise to Him that He was born to die on a cross.  He did not just look at the wicked people around Him.  He saw the evil in man long before that...and far ahead to you and I and even beyond that.  And still Jesus came.
Let this day be a day of rejoicing in that fact alone.  JESUS CAME!!  He came to redeem us, give us hope, save us from the wrath of God to come, and lead us to eternal life.  God's only Son came.
So, in the midst of your day - whether you sit in traffic or stand in a line at the store, whether you are doing laundry or caring for the elderly...Rejoice!! Jesus came to offer peace, joy, love, and salvation to a world that desperately needs it. He came!

Luke 19:10  For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.
