This is just a blog about my thoughts, my family, my everyday life. Because I am a Christian and have ups and downs like everyone else, I hope it will encourage others to either turn to Christ for the first time, or lean on Him when times are rough. Often life is just random and funny. I started this blog after many years of writing to my church about our vacations. They began to encourage me to blog and finally I am. Thanks for reading.

Open House

We finally had our Open House at church after almost a year.  There was much work to do in order to get to this point.  We are thankful that things are finally finished...not perfect...but finished for now.
(When is a building ever perfectly finished?)  Kind of like a freeway being finished.  Or not.
We did not have a huge turnout from the neighborhood, but fun was had by all who attended.  See?

That's Marlon with his hands in the air.  He is afraid he would go unnoticed.  Never.

The Wilmore girls.  Their dad is on the International Space Station.

This is Karen.  She belongs to Marlon.

One of those random things...

And I leave you with these cheetos...on the ground.  And....Merry Christmas!
