This is just a blog about my thoughts, my family, my everyday life. Because I am a Christian and have ups and downs like everyone else, I hope it will encourage others to either turn to Christ for the first time, or lean on Him when times are rough. Often life is just random and funny. I started this blog after many years of writing to my church about our vacations. They began to encourage me to blog and finally I am. Thanks for reading.

Clones in the Hallway

Tommy has had to take his walks on his floor of the hospital while clinging to this metal thingy that is keeping him alive.  Well, not really alive, but if anyone tries to take that morphine pump, my money is on the man with the big cut in his gut.
I see others walking, too, slowly moving, slightly bent, and grimacing as they say hello in passing. It's like creatures from another planet...men and women all dressed in blue...holding on to a contraption with tubes, wires, and bags of liquid.  Every now and then they will nod and say, "It gets better."
Today as we passed a man coming our way, Tommy challenged him to a race.  Nice.  Can you see it? Give me that morphine bag.
The man said, "Tomorrow" and kept going.

Merry Christmas!!
