This is just a blog about my thoughts, my family, my everyday life. Because I am a Christian and have ups and downs like everyone else, I hope it will encourage others to either turn to Christ for the first time, or lean on Him when times are rough. Often life is just random and funny. I started this blog after many years of writing to my church about our vacations. They began to encourage me to blog and finally I am. Thanks for reading.

A Birthday Party on Bible Study Night at Our House

 Ivy's second birthday is April 18th.  We decided to celebrate at our bible study on the 14th.  Close enough -  and since we were all together, why not? So the following is the result with comments along the way.  Daddy, Uncle Owen, and Nanny could not be there, but we managed to press on.  (Though it was difficult, guys.)

After gifts and eats, we try to settle kids down to some quiet activities.


Some use bibles on their phones or computers and some use hard copies.
