Berries never look so appealing as they do when brightening up an empty branch.
Each season holds its own treasures in nature. Each one has unique qualities that distinguish it from the others, but when the earth begins to sleep and the plants rest, it is the loveliest of times...often going unnoticed, unappreciated. Snow covers the ground and takes precedence, hiding a portion of the world that is in hibernation. So as the trees drop their leaves to the ground and ready themselves for colder climates, I for one, will recognize and admire them. Bare branches are beautiful...best when attached to the Vine.
John 15:4-5 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
